Ise has over 20 years’ experience of supporting human rights, women, and sexual minorities. As a donor activist, she employs a diverse set of philanthropic tools; as a networker, she brings people together for common causes; as a lobbyist, she helps create the structural and analytical foundation necessary for the development of a transparent and transformative way of giving.

Ise Bosch is founder, sole shareholder, and CEO of the Dreilinden Gesellschaft für gemeinnütziges Privatkapital mbH, as well as co-founder of the German women’s fund filia.die frauenstiftung and of Pecunia – Das ErbinnenNetzwerk. In 2017, the Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice created the Ise Bosch Transformative Philanthropy Award in her name. This year, she received the 2018 Deutscher Stifterinnenpreis (German Donors Award). Her book Besser Spenden! Ein Leitfaden für nachhaltiges Engagement (Donating Better! A Guide to Sustainable Commitment) was published in 2007 by C.H. Beck. Her presentation “Social Investing” is part of the online library of Active Philanthropy.
